Good To Great Schools Australia provides a suite of educational software for use in public and private schools. Though their website is quite dated by today's standards, their software has been widely successful and a new version is being developed.

Assisted with initial development of the new software by creating a modern design system. This included a large suite of reusable components made with React.js / Next.js packaged as a private NPM repository for use by all teams.

Established the core development environment, configured CI/CD pipelines, implemented automated testing, defined coding standards, created internal processes and ensured all teams adhered to these.

Created a supporting pattern library in Figma with reusable components and designed technical interfaces for the reporting area of their new software.

Contracting for a digital agency Webplace, I worked with an enterprise client Betashares - an Australian fund management company with $50 billion in assets under management and over 1 million investors on their platform.

Operated as Technical Lead directing multiple teams to deliver a modern design system, which was then used to create the entire client-facing Betashares website. Developed a large suite of reusable components, created a design pattern library in Figma, defined coding standards, implemented CI/CD deployment processes, created high-traffic user tests, ensured accurate analytics, managed client expectations and created in-depth technical documentation.

Narangba Timbers is one of Australia's largest timber suppliers with an annual turnover exceeding $15 million.

Responsible for complete design and development of a new e-commerce website which increased engagement and sales by approximately 30%. Created a suite of reusable components, defined coding standards, implemented CI/CD deployment processes and integrated with 3rd party platforms (MYOB and Hubspot).

BuRPS is an SaaS company providing budgeting, rostering and payroll software currently used by over 250 IGA Supermarkets across Australia.

Designed and developed the "BuRPS Staff Portal" progressive web app, used for all communication between employees and employers. This app allows staff to view and approve rosters, request time off, complete training and more.

Created a large suite of reusable, mobile-focused components following Google Material Design specifications (view these here), integrated with the existing BuRPS platform via a RESTful API, defined coding standards and implemented CI/CD deployment processes.

GBST is one of Australia's largest technology organizations, specializing in financial technology software.

Developed interfaces using Ember.js for a complex suite of wellness/investment software for Vitality Group - the world's largest behavioral engagement platform with over 35 million members worldwide.

Developed a reusable "starter pack" with React.js, which was then used for all new projects within the organisation. This included a large suite of reusable components, pre-configured development environments, automated testing, build pipelines, AWS deployment processes and in depth technical documentation.
